WehrHaus Calendar Sync
Privacy policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
WehrHaus Calendar Sync is run by WehrHaus LLC. It copies events from calendars you connect into your own Google Calendar. This page explains what it reads, what it stores and who can see it.
What we access
- Your Google account email, to sign you in and to check you are allowed to use the service.
- Your own Google Calendar (the
calendar.eventspermission), only to create, update and delete the copies this service makes. It does not read or change your other events. - Calendars you connect (Microsoft 365 or Outlook, Google, iCloud, calendar feeds). For each event in a window from 7 days ago to 120 days ahead we read its time, whether you declined it, whether it is marked busy, free or private, and, only if you choose "title and location", its title and location. Notes, descriptions, meeting links and attendee lists are never copied.
- Busy blocking (optional, per calendar). If you turn on "Block my other busy times" for a connected calendar, we ask that account for permission to add events, and add "Busy" holds to that calendar for the times you are busy elsewhere. The holds contain only a start and end time and a fixed title; nothing about the other event is shared. We only ever change or remove holds we added, and we remove them all when you turn blocking off or stop syncing that calendar. Without this setting, connected calendars are only read.
What we store
- Your email address, the outside accounts you connected and the calendars you chose.
- Sign-in tokens for those accounts (and iCloud app-specific passwords), encrypted with a dedicated encryption key.
- For each copied event: an internal ID, a fingerprint of what was copied and its end time, so updates and deletions can be mirrored. Event titles and locations are not stored by the service; they exist only in your Google Calendar.
- Operational logs (which calendars synced and how many events changed) kept for 30 days.
Data is stored in Amazon Web Services in the United States.
Who can see it
Copies are marked private in your Google Calendar, so people you share your calendar with see only that you are busy. We do not sell, share or use your data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models. Google user data is used only to provide this service, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Removing your data
Choosing Stop syncing on a calendar deletes all of its copies from your Google Calendar, any busy holds we added to that calendar, and the records about them. Disconnecting an account deletes its stored tokens. You can also revoke access at any time in your Google or Microsoft account settings. To have everything about you deleted, contact joel@wehrhaus.co.
